A Texas Storage Lien Packet/Certificate will be issued on the vehicle.  The paperwork needs to be picked up when you pick up the vehicle from the storage yard.  Take the packet to the tax office to register for title. All paperwork will be made out in the company name as it appears on the winning bidder's invoice. If no company name is given it will be listed in the individual name exactly as it appears on the winning bidder's invoice at the time of auction close. All title paperwork will appear exactly like it is on your invoice. No changes to paperwork will be allowed.  Very occasionally, there are problems with the vehicle storage lien paperwork sent by the vehicle storage facility.  If a title is not able to be obtained, you may be issued a refund for the purchase price but not for any repairs done to the item purchased.  The vehicle will have to be returned to the vehicle storage facility with the original paperwork before a refund is issued.  VSF Auto Auctions will help coordinate fixing any issues in obtaining title with the Vehicle Storage Facility, but is ultimately not responsible for title paperwork.  If you live outside of Texas, getting a title may be difficult or not possible. Before bidding, check with your state tax office or DMV to see if they accept a Texas storage lien packet for title. The law requires vehicles to be titled within 30 days of purchase. Once 30 days have passed we will not be able to help with your title paperwork.

Some lots in this auction may be subject to a hidden reserve. The auctioneer reserves the right to place bids on behalf of the seller up to the reserve amount. The Auctioneer shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defect in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance, or refund will be made on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging, imperfection, defect or damage. In the extremely rare event that a vehicle is misplaced or picked up from the storage facility before the car is picked up by the buyer, the buyer will be refunded for the purchase of the vehicle. The Auctioneer is acting as Agent for the Seller and all representations made by Auctioneer are made on behalf of the Seller. The Auctioneer is not responsible for the acts or representations of the Seller. Any action or recourse will be directed to the Seller and not to the Auctioneer. Settlement must be made in full immediately upon the completion of the auction by cash, zelle, wire transfer, or credit card. Merchandise not paid for and removed within the specified time period may be resold without notice. When each lot closes, the winning bid and winning bidder are recorded by the online auction system. All questions or disputes regarding Buyer, lot identity, price or quantity must be resolved immediately upon the sale of the lot. No changes or adjustments will be made at any later time. The record of the sale kept by the Auctioneer and sale clerk will be taken as final in the event of any dispute. All persons attending preview, inspection or removal of vehicles assume all risks whatsoever of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release the Auctioneer of liability. All descriptions of items for sale contained or provided orally or in writing at the time of the auction are believed to be correct, but the Auctioneer makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy of any such description, and hereby specifically disclaims any such warranty. The Buyer agrees that any item successfully bid upon will be paid for by the Buyer immediately following the conclusion of the auction . BUYERS PREMIUM IS 13% PER VEHICLE.

Vehicle Conditions

• All vehicles are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" without any warranties, expressed or implied.

• No guarantees are made regarding the condition, history, or safety of any vehicle.

• Buyers are encouraged to inspect vehicles on designated preview days.

• Vehicle descriptions, images, and key availability are not guaranteed.

• Vehicles may have unrepaired safety recalls, deployed airbags, or other defects.

• Buyers are responsible for towing and all necessary repairs, including emissions and safety-related fixes.

• A locksmith sometimes will attempt to make a key for some of the vehicles and may include a video. This locksmith is not a mechanic and anything he says is his opinion. These videos are to help bidders learn more about the vehicles. It is highly recommended to preview vehicles in person. VSF Auto Auctions is not responsible for the content in the videos.

Any CARFAX or other value shown in a lot description is provided for general reference only. These values are estimates based on the VIN and do not reflect the vehicle's actual mileage, condition, title status or history. They are not an appraisal, guarantee or representation of what the vehicle is worth or will sell for. All vehicles are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty, and bidders are responsible for their own inspection and research before bidding.

VEHICLE PICKUP: 9 AM - 3 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday following week. Title paperwork needs to be picked up from the dispatcher at time of vehicle pick up. 

If vehicles are not picked up on pick up days, there will be a $22.85 per day, per car late fee
